Who I am
Maurizio Trovatelli graduated with a thesis in architectural design at the university of Rome "La Sapienza" in 1981. After he graduated, he worked as an independent professional and took part in architectural exhibitions and competitions. He conducted research in industrial archeology for the Aquila Soprintendenza ai Beni Artistici, Architettonici ed Ambientali. He moved to Milan in 1992 to work for the Studio Gregotti Associati International, where he became an Associate in 1998. In 1993, as a supervisor of the Studio Gregotti, he went to Lisbon, Portugal, to work on several projects with the architect Manuel Salgato's Studio RISCO. Until 2012, he kept working with Studio Gregotti, playing a leading role in design and urbanistic architecture. In 2013, he teamed up with Cappa+Stauber Architects, and became the project consultant for the Studio MSC of Milan on works in Abuja, Nigeria. He worked in partnership with Cappa+Stauber Architects in 2014
